About Laurie

Originally from Iowa, I moved to Klamath Falls, Oregon, in 2001, where I teach language arts, mentor new teachers, and have built a life I love. When the school day ends and the calendar allows, you’ll usually find me planning the next adventure with my husband. As a recent empty nester, I’ve found even more reasons to hit the road, exploring everything from quiet backroads to cross-country highways. Travel has become my favorite way to experience new places, uncover unexpected stories, and see the world with fresh eyes.
